Editorial baseline
The archive records what a source is, who published it, when it appeared, and what it can and cannot establish.
- Source before interpretation: Primary documents and original records are preferred.
- Status is not origin: Unidentified or unresolved does not mean extraordinary.
- Claims remain attributed: Testimony and organizer statements are not converted into findings.
- Selective, not exhaustive: One useful record is preferred over a larger but less traceable list.
How the record is organized
Archive entries are grouped by source role. Resources are kept separate for stable tools, reporting routes, and document hubs.
- Official record: Institutional documents, releases, legislation, and public oversight records.
- Testimony: Statements and submitted materials, retained as attributed evidence rather than confirmation.
- Public context: Selected research, media, or organizer material that helps trace public discussion.
