that the Pentagon is "working on it right now" in response to
Trump's Feb 19 directive. An Executive Order — distinct from
the earlier social media post — is described as forthcoming;
no records have been declassified or released yet.

A presidential directive is issued to the Department of
Defense and other federal agencies to begin identifying and
releasing government files related to UAP and extraterrestrial
life. This initiates a formal executive declassification
process; the extent, scope, and timeline of unredacted public
releases remain pending.
FAA Notice N 7110.800 expires; UAP terminology permanently
incorporated into JO 7110.65BB.
Notice N 7110.800 (effective Oct 26, 2025) reached its stated
cancellation date Jan 22, 2026. UAP reporting language —
replacing "UFO" with "UAP" in paragraphs 1-2-6 and 9-8-1 — was
permanently incorporated into base order JO 7110.65BB (issued
Feb 20, 2025). Terminology change is now standing ATC
procedure.
Reporting describes requirements for expanded briefings on UAP
intercepts (including retroactive reporting back to Jan. 1,
2004) and accounting for classification guides governing UAP
reporting/investigations.
